The 1986 World Cup was marked by the appearance of such a phenomenon in the stands as the "wave", which was soon popularized around the world - now it is even called the "Mexican wave". The tournament was held in eleven cities and at twelve stadiums. The main time of the final match between the national teams of Germany and Argentina ended in a draw: 2:2. However, in extra time, Argentina managed to win by scoring another goal.
